Arado Ar 234 Blitz
The Arado Ar 234 Blitz was produced in limited numbers, 150 in 1944 and 64 in 1945. The Arado was the world’s first operational jet-powered bomber, built by the German Arado company in the closing stages of World War II. The Arado was used almost entirely in the reconnaissance role, but in its few uses as a bomber it proved to be nearly impossible to intercept. It was the last Luftwaffe aircraft to fly over Britain during the war, in April 1945. Several manufacturers have built this plane at different scales. However, it is not produced in large numbers and not so easy to find depending on the manufacturer.
