New page for the Japanese Tone-class (Tone and Chikuma) Heavy Cruisers

The Tone-class, composed of Tone and Chikuma, was the last class of Heavy Cruisers being commissioned by the Imperial Japanese Navy. In this new page I describe the features and history of this class of heavy cruisers. The main turrets were built on the front so that they have more space in the rear for seaplanes. They became the main search element for the strike carrier force of the IJN. See the page here.
